Tag des offenen Denkmals

Open Monument Day will be celebrated throughout Germany on 8 September 2024. This year, there is a cooperation between the Protestant and Catholic parishes and the Enkirch Heritage and Tourist Association.

The event starts at 10.00 a.m. with a prayer service in the Protestant church in Enkirch. This will be followed by the unveiling of a plaque with a Latin inscription, which was modelled on an old one and will once again adorn the church tower.

There will be lectures, an open museum of local history, a wine stall, guided tours by local guides and a concert in the Catholic church in the Klause.
