An exhausting muscular training session for everyone who loves mountain climbs.
This round trip leads from Kröv in two loops into the Eifel back to the Moselle and with a detour to Traben-Trarbach. It is a very demanding tour that requires a very good physical condition. But you will also be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Moselle valley and the Eifel landscape - and after the ascent, the descent is always near!

Directions
From Kröv, the first metres in altitude are mastered right away to Bengel. From Bengel to Bonsbeuren, where you can enjoy the first panoramic view. The route then continues on a narrow road to Bad Bertrich, partly serpentine. From Bad Bertrich, several climbs are mastered via Hontheim and Niederscheidweiler to Bausendorf. The tour leads moderately on a small road to Ürzig. From Ürzig, you have to climb quite a bit before the view opens up above Kinheim into the Moselle valley. You reach the village via vineyard paths and cross the Moselle here. Follow the cycle path via Wolf to Traben-Trarbach and cross the Moselle again. Now the last few metres of ascent await you, all the way to Mont Royal. From there you have another wonderful view of the Moselle and the world-famous Kröver Nacktarsch vineyard before you can enjoy the descent back to Kröv.

Beware of the section from Bad Bertrich, the road surface is partly in bad condition.
