Akustik-Konzert mit ROLF SO WAR`S, SO ISSES & SO BLEIBT´S

Rolf Mayer, not quite as old as his great role models—Georges Moustaki, Hermann van Veen, Hannes Wader, Georg Kreisler, the early Bob Dylan, and so on—was forced at home, whether he wanted to or not, to learn French and English at all costs. Although he had to struggle through it during his school days, he can now make meaningful use of these languages in his MUSIC OF OLD MEN, to realize that joy, happiness, misfortune, love, peace, suffering, loneliness, justice, and injustice also exist in other countries and languages:
IT JUST SOUNDS DIFFERENT.
What would we have done without the music of the performing poets?
They knew how to articulate our troubles in words and tones.
They will always hold a place in our hearts.
The songs reflect the ups and downs of his time, which he likes to tell about, not to teach, but to empathize, that everyone has their burdens to carry, but it becomes significantly easier when the burdens are carried together and one stands in trust with each other, just as his great role models knew.
Much of what is now the past was his future.
HIS SONGS PROTECT AGAINST FORGETTING.
