How much is the guest contribution?

The guest contribution is between € 0.50 and € 1.40 per night and per person, depending on the season and accommodation location.

 

Where can I get the guest card?

You will receive the guest card from your landlord in paper form or as a digital card. If a guest card has not yet been issued to you when you arrive, ask your host or the staff at the tourist information office.

 

How do I pay the guest contribution?

The amount will be listed separately on your accommodation provider's invoice. You pay the amount directly to your host.

 

During what period is the guest card valid?

The validity is the same as your length of stay. Please always have the card to hand so that you can show it at events, admissions or checks. Please also note that the guest card is only recognized in combination with a valid ID document.

 

Where is the guest card valid?

The guest card is valid in Kinheim, Kröv, Kövenig, Traben-Trarbach, Wolf, Enkirch, Burg/ Mosel and Reil.

 

Who is exempt from paying the guest contribution?

Children and young people up to the age of 16, business travelers and severely disabled persons are exempt from payment. This group of people also does not receive a guest card.

With your guest contribution, you help to ensure that our high tourism standards can continue. In addition to the many discounts you receive with the guest card, the guest contribution helps to maintain and improve the tourist infrastructure.

As a thank you for your contribution, from 01.03.2024 you will receive a guest card as an overnight guest, with which you can take advantage of a variety of discounts. You can receive the guest card either directly from the landlord in paper form or conveniently for digital use on your smartphone.
