Welcome to the Peifer Winery.

We are still a fairly young winery and have been cultivating our vines around Traben-Trarbach since 1998. We are very happy to be able to live and work right here in the heart of the Middle Moselle, in one of the most beautiful wine and cultural landscapes.
Our wine-growing area extends over 4.5 hectares and is distributed over the sites Trabener Würzgarten, Kräuterhaus, Königsberg and the Lösnicher Försterlay. Most of our vines are located in the steep and steepest sites typical of the Moselle region. Here it is simply so, the steeper the mountain the better the wine !!!!.
Traditionally for our growing area we mainly grow Riesling, but also with Pinot Blanc, Rivaner and Dornfelder we have already achieved very good results. If you want to enjoy not only the wine but also the beauties of an old cultural landscape and at the same time get to know the life on a winery, you are in good hands in our guesthouse.
At present we offer 8 guest beds in two 2-person vacation apartments and one 4-person vacation apartment.
