Walking holidays in the Mosel region

From wildly romantic to challenging routes

You can quickly discover a new favourite spot on adventurous walks. From leisurely strolls to challenging tours and marked hiking trails – everyone can be active here. The diverse natural landscapes of the Mosel, Eifel and Hunsrück and their breathtaking views make this walk the perfect nature experience.
You can hike the Mostelsteig in two legs, which are complemented by three marked partner trails. There are many exciting themed trails in the Mosel region that round off our extensive offering. Those who prefer to plan their own trips can do so easily with our Trip Planner .
Whether you prefer walking alone or in a group – we have something for every walker. If you want to learn more about our unique cultural landscape, the best thing is to take a walk with a culture and wine ambassador or a nature experience guide.

Moselsteig and Seitensprünge

Our marked walking trails, Moselsteig and Seitensprünge offer challenging hikes with scenic trails and exciting sights.
With circular routes and stages of 12-19 km and reasonable altitude gain, you should have a moderate fitness level to take these on. But you will be rewarded with great photo spots and a real sense of achievement.
