Drum & Grill

A unique project that has been combining viticulture with near-natural afforestation and sustainable agriculture since 2020.

The afternoon begins with a drumming ritual led by a shaman, where guests can actively participate – personal drums or drum-worthy objects are explicitly welcome.

Afterwards, there will be a communal meal and drinks:
South African specialties from the grill
Organic wine from Staffelter Hof & wines from the South African community project with Kosie van der Merwe
Picnic atmosphere with tables, benches, and plenty of space for brought blankets.

The Drum & Grill also marks the beginning of sharing the Vitiforst project with the public. In the coming months, there will be much to discover here in the wine forest – and anyone who wants can even become a patron.
