Goya & Dali - Los Caprichos - Weinprobe

A comparison

Original images by Goya & Dali

About 80 etchings by Francisco de Goya and Salvador Dali will be displayed in the "Old School" hall.

The "Los Caprichos" series by Francisco Goya (1746-1828) satirically depict the human weaknesses of society and politics of his time, which still hold true today. Salvador Dali (1904-1989) reinterpreted these in the spirit of his exalted behavior and his traumatic-irrational imagination, resulting in newly encoded, visually appealing, and exciting images.
