Konzert mit Bally Brigade „The Bally Brigade“

This is the new band of the former singer and songwriter of the successful ‘Ghosttown Company’ (6 times honoured at the German Rock&Pop Award, 2 CD release ‘FolkRock’ 2017 and ‘Vagabond Kings’ 2021). On a rainy spring day in Killarney, Ireland, during a session in a pub, Chris Iry and Mary O'Cline (saxophone/flute, also ex-Ghosttown Company) decided to form ‘The Bally Brigade’ band. It quickly became clear that they would bring their long-time companion and crazy virtuoso on accordion and harmonica - Eddy V. Tory, from the Ghosttown Company, into the band. The sound of The Bally Brigade Band combines Irish folk elements with modern rock sounds, based on the influences of the Ghosttown Company. Danceable, with a dash of tradition and driving rhythms, the band attaches great importance to independence. Together with their colleagues Berny G. on drums and percussion, Mic Morgenthal on bass and Chris Sheer on electric guitar, ‘The Bally Brigade’ celebrate their own songs written by Chris Iry and classics from Irish music history with modern rock influences. The band tours throughout Germany and neighbouring countries and is sure to be in your town soon!
