Diploma designer Heidrun Bernitt will guide you to the most notable Art Nouveau buildings of the famous Berlin Art Nouveau architect Bruno Möhring in Traben-Trarbach. Afterwards, you will taste fine Moselle wines of various grape varieties from the best slate steep sites during a wine tasting in the Art Nouveau tasting room of the Villa Huesgen.

approximately 90 minutes guided walk and subsequent wine tasting with sparkling wine, six wines, water & baguette

Heidrun Bernitt studied architecture for two years before earning a degree in industrial design. She is considered a specialist on Möhring. In addition to being the curator of two exhibitions about Möhring in Traben-Trarbach and Bernkastel-Kues, she is also the author of two books on Bruno Möhring.
VILLA HUESGEN – The Art Nouveau Winery. The Art Nouveau villa built in 1904 on the Middle Moselle is the heart of the traditional winery VILLA HUESGEN. Founded in 1735, Ado Huesgen today runs the winery in the 8th generation. From the best slate locations, elegant, long-lasting wines with freshness and minerality are produced.
