WALK TO WINE - Winter Edition

With WALK TO WINE, we are launching a new event format at the Bindges winery – and our first winter edition falls right in a very special time in Traben-Trarbach: the Mosel Wine Christmas Market.

The idea for WALK TO WINE actually came about quite simply: Our winery is located a bit outside the city center – so why not make the journey to us a part of the experience?

We'll start together, enjoy a few glasses of wine along the way, and then spend the evening at Rosenhof with good music, wine, and delicious food. That is exactly what WALK TO WINE is.

THE WALK
It begins on December 12, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. at the XXL Panoramic Bench in Traben-Trarbach. From there, we will make our way together towards Rosenhof.
Please arrive about 15 minutes before the start at the meeting point, so we can check in calmly and start together on time.
At the start, you can expect a welcome drink, and along the way, there will be two more wine stops with selected wines from our organic winery.
This is not about a classic wine tasting, but rather the joy of being on the road together, discovering, enjoying, and chatting. Of course, we will also share some things about us, our winery, and our wines – but in a relaxed manner and in mutual exchange during the short hike.
After about 60 minutes, it will be time for: Arriving at Rosenhof.
The historic half-timbered house from 1610 is now our home and also the home of our winery, which we – Christian and Jenni – have been gradually rebuilding and filling with new life over the past ten years.
Here the walk ends – and the evening begins.

ROSENHOF OPEN from 4:30 p.m.
From 4:30 p.m., we will open Rosenhof for everyone. With DJ (Beats by Moselvibes), our wines, and food by Snack Atelier from Traben-Trarbach, it will continue here in a relaxed manner until late in the evening.
Those who participated in the walk can simply stay and enjoy the evening with us. However, you do not need to participate in the walk to come to Rosenhof later.
If you are out at the Mosel Wine Christmas Market beforehand or just want to drop by spontaneously, you are just as warmly welcomed.
And if you would prefer to leave the car behind: Feel free to take a look at the connection of Bus Line 350. The bus stops right in front of our house and will also head back to town in the evening.
From 4:30 p.m., Rosenhof is open to everyone – free entry, no ticket required.

Important notice regarding the glass deposit:
For the walk, we charge an additional 5 € glass deposit per person, which should be paid in cash at check-in.

If the walk cannot take place due to weather conditions, we will instead meet at 3:30 p.m. at Rosenhof. There you can redeem your ticket and enjoy the three included wines. From 4:30 p.m., the event will continue as planned with DJ, wine, and food by Snack Atelier. Should this be the case, we will of course inform you in advance about it.
