WELCOME TO THE FILZEN-NIESEN WINE ESTATE - a traditional family business with a long winemaking tradition, which I took over from my parents Mathilde and Josef Filzen-Niesen and continue to run as a hobby on a small scale, but with a lot of passion. Being able to enjoy the evening sun on the steep slope of the vineyard with a view of Reil and the Moselle is a good balance to my work and always gives me pleasure. Even as a small child I stood in the vineyard and I am delighted that now even my first grandchild is following in my footsteps and recognising the joy of the vineyard.
We are a small family winery and together with my wife and children we work in the vineyards all year round, where we place great value on traditional methods and manual labour. During the grape harvest in autumn, we can always count on the active support of family friends.
The quality of our hand-picked wines is particularly important to us. I enjoy monitoring the ripening process and am delighted every year to be able to savour the result of our work together.
I regularly deliver our wines to the most diverse corners of Germany in order to maintain personal contact with our customers. Of course, we are also happy to send our wines to you by post on request.
