The family of the Dr. Melsheimer winery in Traben-Trarbach is one of the most colourful and famous winegrowing families on the Moselle. The winery has a glorious past.
The imposing building of the winery on the banks of the Moselle in Trarbach is an architectural uniqueness, built by a student of the famous architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel at the beginning of the 19th century.
Today, the winery covers approx. 2ha in the classic Riesling steep slopes of the Middle Moselle and have converted our operation to organic viticulture since 2009.
