Winery Jakoby-Mathy

Today, the winery is operated in the third generation by Erich, Rita, Peter, and Stefan Jakoby. Our nearly five hectares of vine area are spread over many small parcels around our small wine village and are divided among our partly rocky slate steep locations Kinheimer Rosenberg and Kinheimer Hubertuslay. We love classic Rieslings, and this grape variety now accounts for nearly 80% of our grape variety composition. The range is complemented by Pinot Noir, Müller-Thurgau, Sauvignac, and Pinot Blanc.
Our wines are made in the vineyard! As a small family business, it is important for us to manage the vineyards ourselves, mostly even by hand. Ripe, aromatic, and healthy grapes, as well as fermentation on the grape's own yeast, form the foundation for producing "great wines" with character and individuality.
We believe that this uncompromising work has been worthwhile!
