Family business - viticulture as a secondary occupation
We are a family business that cultivates its vineyards as a side activity. We handle all tasks ourselves, from vine pruning to finished wine. The pursuit of quality is our standard work. Every year, wines are created that will delight you time and again. Thus, every bottle is a pleasure.
The romantic wine and holiday destination Kinheim is located in the heart of the Middle Mosel, on the left bank of the large Mosel loop between Bernkastel-Kues and Kröv, nestled between the Eifel and the Hunsrück. Here in the district of Kindel is our winery and the comfortably furnished 4-star holiday apartment. Enjoy the beautiful landscape and spend a relaxing vacation with a Mosel winemaker.
We look forward to your visit

Cultivated grape varieties:
Müller Thurgau
Named after its breeder, the Müller-Thurgau grape variety, is a cross between Riesling and Silvaner. Hence the name RIVANER. This variety ripens very early and produces mild, moderately acidic, aromatic wines.
Riesling
The most valuable German quality grape has been known since the 16th century. It has small berries and is spicy, ripens very late, and produces racy, elegant wines. The top German wines made from Riesling grapes have a legendary reputation and are considered the best white wines in the world.
It is particularly well-suited for long storage.
White Burgundy
This grape produces a powerful, full-bodied wine with a lot of fragrance and character. The wines from White Burgundy are characterized by their very gentle, mild acidity and delicate bouquet.
Blue Pinot Noir
Blue Pinot Noir is the classic red wine variety, also known as "Pinot Noir." The wines from Blue Pinot Noir are notable for their deep ruby red color, sometimes streaked with a warm brown hue. In taste, the fine flavor nuances reminiscent of blackberries, sour cherries, and other berry fruits are the main components of the aroma profile.
Dornfelder
The Dornfelder presents itself with a deep red color and a concentrated, tannin-rich taste. Its fine bouquet is reminiscent of elderberry and blackberry fruits.
