Project “100 Life Towers for the Mosel”.
The local community of Kinheim participated in the project "100 Life Towers for the Moselle". The goal was to promote biodiversity in the Moselle wine hills. Habitats for wild bees, birds, hedgehogs, and lizards were created for this purpose. The project was initiated by the regional initiative "Fascination Moselle" and was supported by the DLR Mosel, the Mosel Wine Promotion Association, and the Farmers' and Winemakers' Association. The life towers were built along the entire Moselle. Here in Kinheim stands one of the 100 objects.
The individual elements were filled by local clubs, the daycare center, and volunteers.
