An external branch of the Springiersbach Monastery
The Springiersbacher Hof is mentioned in a document from Emperor Henry VI in 1193, along with a chapel, vineyards, and fields. A court codex from 1356 is preserved in a parchment document. It is unknown what prompted the abbots of Springiersbach to richly adorn this double farm complex with Renaissance art at its portal, front doors, and staircase (unfortunately no longer preserved today). Perhaps they used the farm as a place of relaxation, as indicated by a powerful, intricately designed fireplace (still preserved).
Today, the Springiersbacher Hof is operated as a privately-owned hotel.
