Nature hike to the Marienkapelle chapel - called "Kinheimer Bildchen" by the locals
Circular route from Kinheim through the vineyard location Kinheimer Rosenberg with great views over the Mosel valley to the Marienkapelle chapel, along the barbecue hut back to the quaint wine village.
General information
Directions
The circular hike leads along hiking trail No. 7 through the vineyard location "Kinheimer Rosenberg", crosses the district road and then continues about 50m to the right to the Marienkapelle chapel.
It then continues eastwards towards Kröv until the barbecue hut is reached after about 200m. From there, it goes downhill along hiking trail No. 6 back to Kinheim.

Tip
Every year on May 1st, the forest festival takes place at the barbecue hut near the Marienkapelle on Kinheimer Berg. The Kinheim-Kindel volunteer fire brigade provides guests with wine, grilled food, coffee, and cake. On all other days, the hut can also be used for a cozy picnic.
