E4 - Endeler Köpfe

From the Tourist - Information to the "Hotel Steffensberg". Here we cross the bridge on the right and immediately turn left into the street "Im alten Tal". We follow the signpost E 4. The hiking trail leads us along gardens and the Großbach stream until we reach the road (L 192) "Am Steffensberg". Follow this road to the right, pass the "Hotel Dampfmühle", walk over the bridge and continue left on the road (L 193). After about 100 mtr. After about 100 metres, immediately behind the LBG barn, we turn right into the street "An der Klause". The hiking trail leads us uphill past hedges, quarries and through the forest to the "Endeler Köpfe" (beautiful view). Here we turn left, past the raised hide and the equipment shed, we meet a wide farm track, which we follow to the right. After 200 metres, turn right again and walk downhill through fields and woods into the Ahringstal valley. In the valley, the hiking trail leads us to the right, along the Ahríngsbach, the former "Rote Mühle", fish pond, Herrenmühle, Klostermühle back to Enkirch.

The Endeler Köpfe are ideal for a rest. From here you can enjoy a great view.

By car via the B53, L192 or L193 main roads to Enkirch on the Moselle. Approx. 150m to the starting point.

This tour is easily accessible by train and bus.By train (Easter to October): to Kövenig then by ferry to Enkirch. To the starting point approx. 150m from the ferry.By bus: take line 333 (Moselbahn, Trier-Bullay) or line 720 (Bullay-Traben-Trabach) to the Enkirch stop. Approx. 150m to the starting point
