The starting point is on the fairground in front of the tourist information and takes you through one of the beautiful side valleys of Enkirch to wonderful vantage points in the Moselle valley.

Beautiful hike around Enkirch, with great viewpoints and refreshments along the way.

Directions

Through the Enkircher Großbachtal and the well-known vineyard location "Steffensberg" we reach the catholic church "Klause" and hike to the right of the stream (we leave the church on our left) through the forest to the state road, which we cross and follow the footpath in the direction of " Club among us" hut. Here we can strengthen ourselves with a piece of Enkircher bacon cake and a glass of fresh Mosel-Federweißer for the further hiking route.Many wonderful views of the Mosel, Hunsrück and Eifel accompany us on this high-altitude trail, before we reach the music pavilion and the "Rottenblick" vantage point (here beckons us as a reward a beautiful panoramic view of the Moselle valley) downhill again through the vineyards in the direction of the fairground

 By car via the main road B53, L192 or L193 to Enkirch an der Mosel

Parking

 Parking at the Mosel parking lot in Enkirch - free of charge. Approx. 150m to the starting point

Public transit

By train (Easter to October): take the Moselle Wine Train to the Kövenig stop, then take the ferry to Enkirch - the current ferry times can be found at the following link: www.enkirch.de/gemeinde-enkirch/buerger-info/personenfaehre/. To the starting point approx. 150m from the ferry.

By bus on line 333 (Moselbahn, Trier-Bullay) or line 720 (Bullay-Traben-Trabach) to the Enkirch stop. Approx. 150m to the starting point
