The "Reiler Goldlay" offers the opportunity to visit beautiful viewpoints and picnic areas on an easy circular hike through the vineyards and the neighboring village of Burg. The circular hike is suitable for families with strollers and offers great views of Reil, the Moselle, and the wine cultural landscape at any time of the year.

General information

Directions

Pass the Bibade-Platz, keep right and follow the street course, crossing the Moselle. Hike straight into the vineyards. Once more to the right and follow this path until you reach our neighboring village Burg. After arriving in the village, orient yourself towards the church, walk from there upwards back into the vineyards to return to the starting point.

 Beautiful views of Reil and the Moselle valley!
Make use of the time in wonderful sunshine for an extensive picnic on one of the numerous viewing benches.

On this route, you can enjoy the sun for a long time in suitable weather. The circular hike is ideal for a relaxed and extensive evening stroll!

Getting there

Via the B49 or B53 to Reil.

Parking

Free parking at the Moselle riverbank in Reil. Starting point of the route.

Public transit

Reil is easily accessible by bus and train. Hourly train connection between Bullay and Traben-Trarbach.

After changing trains in Bullay, connection to the DB railway network.
