Two streams path

We start our hike in Springiersbach in the parking lot opposite the monastery church. From here, we walk left past the church and the monastery store to the end of Karmelitenstraße. Here we turn right into Waldstraße and follow the paved forest path to the Kellerberg refuge. Now we leave our path, which now runs uphill in a hairpin bend, and go straight ahead on the forest path past the aforementioned refuge. At the second crossroads, we keep half-left and continue along the path until the next fork, where we keep half-right. From here, we continue steadily uphill to the end of the path. We then turn right and stay on this path for approx. 2 km. The path then forks in three directions. We take the middle one and follow it for approx. 2 km to the "Rammisch Eiche". We now change to the tarred road and follow it for approx. 500m until we reach a sharp right-hand bend. Here we turn left onto hiking trail 3 (yellow 3 on a white sign) and follow it along the former Trimm Dich path and down a flight of steps to the forest parking lot. From here, we return to our starting point via Waldstraße and Karmelitenstraße.

As the trail is not permanently signposted, we recommend downloading it as a GPX onto a suitable device.

Please take enough drinks with you, as there are no refreshment stops along the way.

At the starting point, we recommend a short stop at the monastery church directly opposite the parking lot.

B49 to Bengel, then follow the signs to Springiersbach
