Educational walk through the vineyards

The Reil wine education trail offers 40 information boards with details on the history of viticulture, the natural features of the region, grape varieties, cultivation areas, as well as entertaining and other interesting facts. As the first wine education trail on the Middle Moselle, this path has meanwhile been redesigned, revised, and updated with the information boards.

General information

Directions

Opposite the Raiffeisenbank, the education trail is reached via a railway underpass. Follow the street and turn right at the first opportunity. From there, follow the path to the Pfahlbach, turn left (downwards), and take the path above the buildings on the left back to the multi-generational playground.

If you are carrying a stroller or similar on the path, you should avoid the railway underpass near the Raiffeisenbank and instead take the railway underpass about 200 meters further south via Fischelbachstraße. From there, you reach the wine education trail via the first path on the right.

Safety Guidelines

Caution at the railway underpass, the stairs are difficult to walk on.

Tip

A glass of wine along the way or at the end of the route on the multi-generational playground rounds off the route in style.
