We are a family business that cultivates its vineyards on a part-time basis. We do all the work ourselves, from pruning the vines to the finished wine. Striving for quality is a matter of course for us. Every year we produce wines that will delight you time and time again. So every bottle is a pleasure. The romantic wine and holiday resort of Kinheim is located in the heart of the Middle Moselle, on the left bank of the large Moselle loop between Bernkastel-Kues and Kröv, nestled between the Eifel and Hunsrück. Here in the district of Kindel you will find our winery and the comfortably furnished 4-star holiday flat. Enjoy the beautiful landscape and spend a relaxing holiday with a Moselle winegrower. Cultivated grape varieties:
Müller Thurgau
Grape variety named after its breeder Müller-Thurgau, originates from a crossing of Riesling and Silvaner. This is where the name RIVANER comes from. This variety ripens very early and produces mild, moderately acidic, fragrant wines.
Riesling
The most valuable German quality grape has been known since the 16th century. It is small-berried and spicy, ripens very late and produces racy, elegant wines. The top German wines made from the Riesling grape enjoy a legendary reputation and are considered the best white wines in the world. Particularly suitable for long storage.
Pinot Blanc
This grape produces a powerful, full-bodied wine with plenty of bouquet and character. Pinot Blanc wines are characterised by their very gentle, mild acidity and delicate bouquet.
Pinot Noir
Blauer Spätburgunder is the classic red wine variety, it is also called "Pinoc Noir". The wines of Blauer Spätburgunder are characterised by their deep ruby-red colour, sometimes suffused with a warm brown hue. On the palate, the fine flavours reminiscent of blackberries, sour cherries and other berry fruits are the main components of the aroma picture.
Dornfelder
The Dornfelder presents itself with a deep red colour and a concentrated, tannin-accentuated taste. Its fine bouquet is reminiscent of elderberry and blackberry fruit.
