Our members are not only from the southwest. We all share a love of boating and therefore want to promote it. In cooperation with the authorities, associations and other clubs, we look after the legitimate interests of recreational skippers in the southwest. A certainly very important topic is the promotion of the next generation, i.e. our youth. The forum is our communication platform. Information is exchanged here quickly and up-to-date, and the club members have their own blogs and albums with pictures.
In interest groups, boating friends get together and organise joint skipper meetings and boat trips. Some have a permanent mooring, are perhaps not even members of another boating club, others don't want the club's bureaucracy and prefer to trailer. We can all dream of a super yacht. Our members are a bit more down-to-earth and enjoy sailing an inflatable boat just as much as a small speedster, but always with a lot of care and consideration.
If time permits, many also go on larger tours with a small motor boat to slowly get to know the beautiful landscape of our rivers.
