A scenic day hike through the side valleys of Enkirch that extend far into the Hunsrück.

A hike through the Ahringstal valley is scenically very varied and charming. Numerous mills adorn the path, forests and meadows alternate, so that the path is pleasantly walkable even in summer. Far into the valley there is a very idyllic resting place at the "Rauschkümpel", a small waterfall that invites you to linger. Another resting place is located further on at the "Feuerwehrhütte" (fire station), not far from the road between Enkirch and Raverbeuren. From there, the trail leads through woods, meadows and fields to the Großbachtal valley, which is also lined with woods and meadows. From there you return to the starting point in Enkirch.
