Circular hike on the two premium hiking trails, Kluckertspfad and Moselsteig stage 12, on both sides of the Moselle.
On this day tour you can experience both sides of the Moselle. From Wolf the way leads up to the fortress ruins Mont Royal. Then a moderate section leads over the Moselle heights with many great views of the Moselle valley. After the descent to the wine town of Kinheim, you cross the Moselle again and hike the last section on the Kluckertspfad passing the Kluckerter Bach with a former Roman mill wheel. Shortly before the end of the tour, you can once again enjoy a fantastic view of the Moselle valley from the Wolfer abbey ruins.
From the hiking car park, follow the hiking signs "Zuweg" to the center of Wolf. From there, follow the hiking signs "Zuweg" over the bridge up to the Mont Royal holiday park. From here follow the Moselsteig Trail in the direction of Kinheim. At the crossing of the L58 leave the Moselsteig Trail and follow the hiking signs "Zuweg" to Kinheim. Here you cross the Moselle side again and follow the hiking signs "Zuweg" to the starting point of the "Seitensprung Kluckertspfad". Follow the hiking signs "Seitensprung" towards Wolfer Kloster and from there continue on the "Seitensprung" to the starting point.
Sturdy shoes and possibly trekking poles are recommended.
