Continue on to the Mont-Royal holiday village and then through the Steffensberg and Letterlay vineyards back to Kröv.

General information

Directions

We start the circular walk at the Europabrunnen and follow the Bergstraße uphill and then turn right into the street "An Kampel".

The path leads us through the vineyards in the direction of Viehbach, from here it goes slightly uphill to the edge of the forest past the Kröver Krichlay vineyard. The path joins the Moselsteig and we continue along the slate path towards the "Hähnchensborn" barbecue hut and mountain chapel and enjoy wonderful views of the Mosel valley. We now walk past the vineyards of Kröver Letterlay and Kröver Steffensberg towards the Landal Mont Royal holiday park. Opposite the Kordel car park, we then head downhill again towards Kröv.

Before the descent, it is also possible to make a short detour to the "Wood" restaurant in the holiday park.

The Panorama Trail now leads slightly downhill through the vineyards towards the Kesselstatt Chapel, then via Ehrenmalstraße to Robert-Schuman-Straße and from there to the starting point at the Europabrunnen.

Equipment

The trail is comfortable to walk in trainers or light hiking boots.

Tip

We recommend stopping at the Woods restaurant/café in the Landal Mont Royal holiday park. Here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Moselle bend at Kröv from the large panorama terrace. For children, there is a large playground and a petting zoo that can be accessed and viewed directly from the panorama terrace.
