Enjoy the landscape in the vineyard site "Kinheimer Rosenberg" and explore the villages of Kinheim and Lösnich

Vineyard hike through the "Kinheimer Rosenberg" and the village of Lösnich with great views of the Moselle and plenty of opportunities to rest, e.g. for a picnic. Points of interest are the St. Vitus Church, the Kindel sports field, the water treading facility and the bridge in Kinheim, built in 1962 and only 4m wide.

General information

Directions

The hike leads up the Borgasse (hiking trail 7), through the vineyard site "Kinheimer Rosenberg" (just above the village, change from hiking trail 7 to 21) in the direction of the Lösnicher bridge with a great view of the Moselle. Continue over the Lösnicher bridge, turn right into the village. Then you cross the centre of the village with the St. Vitus church. Before the end of the village, turn right (Zum Burgberg) and take the farm track in the direction of the Kindel sports field, past the water treading facility and then over the bridge, built in 1962 and only 4 m wide, back to Kinheim.

If you want to make a small detour at the former Roman villa, instead of turning left to the sports field, walk straight ahead and follow the next path to the left.
